Welcome to the White Plains NY Chapter of H.O.G. Website !!

Carl reports that a pound of pennies amounts to $1.89 so we are looking at about $320. That is a good show by everyone. We are going to try and keep this going.
Right now the second jar is at 80 lbs.

As you know, Carl Schmidt’s wife recently passed away from cancer. She had a jar in which she saved pennies. Carl is turning this jar into a “Pennies Against Cancer” mission. This jar is only for pennies. Carl reports that the jar started out at 31.4 lbs and, since our November meeting, is now up to 170 lbs. He will be collecting pennies at meetings, rides, anytime you want to offer them. Let's really make this mission a success and do whatever we can to fight an awful disease.

Note: The jar is now full and Carl has started a second one. We are looking for a cancer RESEARCH organization to send it to.
